Ryuichi Sakamoto

An interview with one of the leading musicians of the day, one who can move effortlessly between various genres and artists. Most Americans will probably remember him for his score for the move The Last Emperor, for which he won an Oscar in 1987 , or perhaps the one for the 1983 film Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, in which he also appeared in front of the camera alongside David Bowie, or perhaps his work with the Yellow Magic Orchestra back in the 70's and 80's.

An informal chat in which he expresses the same concerns that many of us do about the troubling aspects of our world view today, such as Iraq, nuclear weapons and plutonium production, etc. , and for his appreciation for all kinds of music.
