Note To Self: Never Double-Park In Greece
Maybe all of the Greek police force has been on edge ever since all of those Liverpool fans left last week.. Maybe the weekend announcement of a nationwide crackdown on unruly drivers has added to that stress. At any rate, a Salonican policeman has been arrested after allegedly shooting a man who wasn't moving his car fast enough after being caught double-parking. Yikes.

$7,000 Per Jumping Jack
$35,000 awarded to a Florida teen age girl after a settlement with the Pensacola City Council was reached. All of this after a city police officer ordered her to do some topless jumping jacks. Nice example of seeing what exactly a policeman thinks they can get away with these days. Sounds like a skit for a future Reno 911 episode as well.

YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY BE TALKIN' BOUT ME?
God bless Paul Goward , his heart was in the right place, it just seems that the skin of some in Winter Haven, Florida was just a little bit too thin.

We May Have The Bomb...........But The Homeless Have A Stolen AR-15 Police Rifle
Just what this city needs............a homeless person on the streets of Albany with an AR-15 rifle stolen out of the trunk of one of the cities police vehicles. The weapon was stolen when an officer was visiting the Helping Hands shelter, a place where many people of, uh, various reputations have gathered to , hopefully, start a new life. As people who work and live in the area will tell you, the shelter, which opened last year, has attracted a lot of people, and many of them had been camping out in vehicles parked on the street for the past several months, until a police crackdown was recently instituted.
Two cop stories in two days......................we're just reporting the news here folks, doubtless most people have already opined about the police force in their area.

Oh no...............COPS!!!!!
In a scene reminiscent from the movie Brazil, comes this little story involving the police, porn, and a transposed number in Spokane. They wouldn't even clean up their mess. afterward, tsk tsk tsk.
