Pete, lower leftBeing a big Gram Parsons fan, it is sad to note the passing of "Sneaky" Pete Kleinow, the steel guitar player who added the perfect complement of steel guitar playing to Gram's Cosmic American Music vision with the Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, in addition to many other artists and records.
He was also well known in the animation industry, having worked on a variety of things ranging from Gumby to The Terminator movies.
A nice coincidence that I've been spinning Gram a lot lately, mostly due to catching a showing of Gram Theft Parsons on IFC this past week.
Thank you for your outstanding contributions to music and animation Pete, you will indeed be missed.
