Boise State 43 Oklahoma 42

Early turnover that gives the underdog a bigger lead and more confidence? Check.

The underdog giving points back due to turnovers as well? Check.

Combination of conservative play calling (never mind the "prevent" defense"), late in the fourth quarter, by the underdog and aggressive defense by the favourite that allows the latter to get back into the game? Check.

Total misread of a coverage, resulting in a touchdown from a pick, by the underdog's quarterback that gives the favourite a one touchdown lead with a minute to play? Check.

On a fourth & 18, the ol' hook and ladder on a long pass play to rescue the underdog and send the game into overtime? Check.

Allowing perhaps the best running back in the land to run in for a touchdown on the favourite's first play in OT? Check.

On a fourth and two, the underdog responds with the tying touchdown on an option pass by a wide receiver? Check.

Saying "the hell with this" and going for two points on the PAT while you have momentum on your side? Check.

Running a variation of the Statue Of Liberty play for the two point conversion, totally faking everybody out on the defensive side? Check.

Proposing to your cheerleader girlfriend on national television after scoring the winning points? Check.

Think I've seen just about everything, except the ol' fumblerooski, in a very exciting football game. Well done to the Boise State Broncos and their victory over the Oklahoma Sooners.
