Portsmouth 1 Spurs 1

Checked this one out via Gametracker cause I didn't wanna watch Man City/Everton live.

Just ended from Fratton Park, where Spurs grab a much needed point on the road against Pompey with a 1-1 draw. Spurs road performance this season, of course, hasn't been adequate, especially when the other team draws first blood, so it was nice to see the boys respond in the second half with an equalizer and the point.

For the home side, Benjani Mwaruwari had a long shot apparently deflect off of Calum Davenport in the 29th minute for a 1-0 lead. Steed Malbranque got the Spurs goal with a lovely header in from the right side of the box in the 50th minute, which sent the visitors to an attacking mode for much of the rest of the game. The tracker gives time of possession to Pompey 55% to 45%, but the home side made 9 saves versus the 2 for Spurs goalie Paul Robinson.

Stories later...........
